Lifting Moms Out of Homelessness: You can help a mom in crisis, like Geneva. This single mom and her young son were in desperate need of a safe place to live. So Geneva was assigned a mentor through HomeStretch Moms, a ChannelMom Outreach program. Geneva's mentor, Riley, committed to supporting her for six months. During this time, Riley led Geneva through a handbook of helpful instruction, giving this young mom tools to establish a stable home for herself and her son. Now Geneva and her boy are moving forward! Note: HomeStretch Moms works in partnership with Denver Rescue Mission.
Helping Moms Overcome Imprisonment: Consider the story of Gail. Sent to prison after criminal drug use, Gail was heartbroken over her failure to be the mom she wanted to be for her kids. However, since her release from prison, Gail has purchased a new home, works two jobs and is raising her young children. Gail used proven techniques for her successful rehabilitation; now, those techniques are applied in our Forever Moms Prison Curriculum. This curriculum for incarcerated moms, offers instruction toward inner healing and positive parenting skills. The final aim of this ChannelMom Outreach program is to end the legacy of incarceration that gets passed down from parent to child.
ChannelMom Radio and Digital Media: Our media helps secure support for our Outreaches above and delivers weekly advice, encouragement and LOVE to moms!
